Elisa Al Malah has five years experience of working with a number of autistic children on a one to one basis, using behavioural interventions (Verbal Behaviour). Her work has been carried out in family settings, in and around London. She understands the complex demands made on parents in helping their children. Her enthusiasm and commitment shine through. She admires the persistence of parents in helping their autistic children. This has encouraged her to train as an RDIŽ consultant. She said... "The experience I have gained has been an insight into the 'autism world'. Spending so much time on a one to one basis with these children has made me want more for these individuals' quality of life. Since studying the RDIŽ programme, it has become evident to me that it covers aspects that are not available in other programmes for autism. The best aspect of this programme is that it truly empowers parents to interact successfully with their child."
Elisa Al Malah has completed her training in the RDIŽ Programme Consultant certification process which involved attending seminars held at the RDIŽ center in Houston, Texas and close case study supervision via videotape.
